Oral Diagnosis and Medicine

　Oral and maxillofacial region is the entry of digestive and respiratory organs. The region has a crucial role in mastication, swallowing and articulation with contribution to quality of life.

Our department is the first institution as oral medicine in Japan. Our department develops basic and clinical researches of the relation between oral and systemic condition. We also continue studying of the minimally invasive treatment for functional preservation to several diseases. Moreover, we nurture the specialists of oral surgery and promote oral medicine and surgery.
