口腔分子生化学教室のホームページへようこそ！
口腔分子生化学教室の皆様、そして当ホームページをご訪問いただいたすべての方々に、心より歓迎のご挨拶を申し上げます。
私は2025年2月より、北海道大学歯学部の長い伝統と歴史を受け継ぎ、本教室の第3代教授として着任いたしました、李智媛（イ・ジウォン）と申します。
当教室は、初代の久保木芳徳教授（北海道大学名誉教授）が1986年4月に創設され、2001年には第2代の田村正人教授（北海道大学名誉教授）へと引き継がれ、学問的な系譜を継承してまいりました。このような由緒ある教室を担うこととなり、大変光栄に思うと同時に、重責を感じております。
「巨人の肩の上に立つ」という言葉のように、先人たちの足跡を学び、探求する過程は、常に私に深い洞察と成長の糧を与えてくれました。これまで多様な環境で研究を続けてきた経験は、今後の当教室の教育と研究において貴重な資産となると信じております。
生命現象の根本原理を探求する生化学、特に口腔領域における分子生化学的アプローチは、絶え間ない挑戦と発見の連続です。私は、当教室がこの分野の中核的な研究を遂行し、未来社会を牽引する創造的で優れた人材を育成する教育の場となるよう、最善を尽くす所存です。また、生化学を基盤とした融合研究を通じて新たな価値を創出し、社会に貢献することを目指します。

Welcome to the Department of Oral Molecular Biochemistry’s Homepage!
We extend a warm welcome to all visitors to our homepage and to the members of the Department of Oral Molecular Biochemistry.
I am Ji-Won Lee, and I have had the honor of assuming the position of the third professor of this department, beginning in February 2025, following the long tradition and history of Hokkaido University’s Faculty of Dentistry.
The Department of Oral Molecular Biochemistry was established in April 1986 by Professor Yoshinori Kuboki (Emeritus Professor of Hokkaido University), the first head of the department. In 2001, it was succeeded by Professor Masato Tamura (Emeritus Professor of Hokkaido University), the second head. I am deeply honored and at the same time fully aware of the significant responsibility that comes with leading such a historically rich department.
As the saying goes, "Standing on the shoulders of giants," the process of learning from and exploring the footsteps of our predecessors has always provided me with deep insight and opportunities for growth. My experiences from conducting research in diverse environments will, I believe, serve as valuable assets in shaping the future of education and research in this department.
Biochemistry, which seeks to explore the fundamental principles of life phenomena, and especially molecular biochemical approaches in the oral field, is a continuous journey of challenges and discoveries. I am committed to ensuring that this department continues to carry out pioneering research in this field and becomes a place of education that nurtures creative and outstanding individuals who will lead the future of society. Through integrated research based on biochemistry, we aim to create new value and contribute to society.
This homepage serves as a platform to share the diverse research activities, educational programs, and the latest information from our department. I hope that it will also become a space for active engagement and academic exchange, where we can stimulate one another, grow together, and go beyond the boundaries of academia.
