＜Research policy＞

    Our research aim is to clarify the significance of oral function in homeostatic mechanisms of the body. We are performing studies about brain function of regulation of feeding, vomiting, oral sensation and, learning and memory, from the point of view of neuroscience

＜Educational ideal＞

    Our educational activity is based on the fundamental principles of Hokkaido University, 1) frontier spirit, 2) cultivating the international, 3) all-round education and 4)　enphasis on practical sciences. We aim at　development of human resources who have concept of the sanctity of life and will perform evidence-based dentistry.
