生化学、分子生物学は，生命現象について生体を構成するさまざまの分子の働きとして解釈しようとする学問です．本教室では，骨や歯といった硬組織を構成する細胞が産生する分子を中心とした，タンパク質の構造と機能の解明を主たるテーマとし，生化学・分子生物学・細胞生物学的な研究を行っています．

Tamura’s laboratory studies the function of various signaling molecules in bone homeostasis and regeneration. We also study mechanisms and physical roles of protein involved transport of nucleic acids and regulation of gene expression.
